Hello John,

Haven't you already posted that question here?

If this is an urgent matter, you should contact your Adagio Consultant.

PS - All uppercase is considered YELLING on a forum.

You don't have to close AR, AP or JC in order to retrieve 2010 transactions into Adagio Ledger with both 2009 and 2010 open. When retrieving the sub-ledger batches, just ensure that the method of determining the fiscal period is 'by date'. Thus AR/AP/JC transactions dated in 2009 will get retrieved into a batch for that year, and transactions dated in 2010 will get retrieved into a different 'Next Year' batch for that year.

If you are interested in seeing how to deal with retrieving sub-ledger batches at the year end turnaround, check out the 'Year End Processing' recorded webinar that is available to watch or download from our website from this link.

Hello Mr. Bates.

I am very sorry if I offended you for the uppercase, in no way I am yelling on the forum.
We have been your customer for quite a while, and recently considered to use this forum as a tool to improve our understanding of the system.
Why would we should contact our "adagio consultant" when such person charge money even for a call, when we can get the support from this forum?
It's kind of frustrating when a company pays a lot of money no just for the packege but also for updates that were never received.
Once again I am soory if ant inconvenience.

Hi John,

No offence was taken or intended. Some people are unaware of what it means to be typing all in uppercase.

This forum is free because there is no guarantee of a particular response time. This means that it is not a great place to post questions where you are urgently in need of an answer. We do get to all the questions throughout the day, and sometimes very quickly. However, if we are busy here you might have to wait a couple of hours for a reply (hence the suggestion to contact your consultant if you needed a faster answer). Different people have different ideas about what constitutes "a lot of money" (as I'm sure your own customers point out every so often) wink.

Why were your updates never received? Our records indicate that you have been sent all the upgrade announcements (sent to fkarim@).

Mr Bates.

Thank you for your observations. we find this forum very helpful and are quite happy with the quickness of answers specially from Softrak support team.
Regarding the updates, I talked with the controller of the company Mr. Fazal Karim and he said did not received any of the updates you are mentioned, problably there's something wrong with the e-mail address.
There are 2 e-mail address you consider to send the updates:
fkarim@rochonbuildingcorp.com
jarango@rochonbuildingcorp.com.

Thank you for you time

Hi John, I reviewed all the invoices (including those before you joined the company) and found ZERO billing for telephone support. So “A LOT” must mean different things to different people.

I will call you in case you have any questions.
