I was fiddling around with my statement designer, now I have everything set the way I want it. I was also marking customers inactive. After I finished doing all of this, I went to print a statement and it only selects random statements. I'm choosing customers based on balance/outstanding transactions only/customers with balances between 0 to 9999 days. This should pretty much cover everyone, but for some reason it only wants to print certain customers. I went in to make sure the customers are not marked inactive, and they aren't. Not sure what happened, but it worked fine before I started changing things. Help!

Check the customer profile to make sure you have selected the option to receive a statement.

That's exactly what it is. For some reason the statements option is now unchecked on most of my customers. It was checked before, not sure why it changed. Is there any way to change them all at once or do I have to do it individually? Thanks.

You can mass change them using the export and import functions. Export that field and the customer code to Excel, change the field there and save, and then import.

Make sure you have a backup before importing.

I tried to print statements and I'm getting an error message "list index out of bounds". Any ideas?

Hi, Jennifer,

Can you verify which release date of AR9.0A you are using? You can get this information by selecting Help | About from the main menu. The date is in parentheses to the right of the version code.

We did have a report of this error by someone who had made multiple adjustments to a customer invoice. If the statements were backdated to before those adjustments, they printed without an error.

If you're running the current SP release (090928) or later, the problem should be resolved.

In case anyone was wondering about this - The SP (090928) was installed.
I noticed that the statement spec had been moved out of the data directory and into a seperate directory. I moved the statement spec back and the "list index out of bounds" error went away.
The statements are printing now.
