When a user installs Adagio to a Linux server it appears that some of the DLLs stored in the x:\Softrak\System folder are marked as read only. In order to perform an update to an Adagio module, therefore, it is first necessary to rename each of those read only files before starting the update process (Linux seems to ignore any attempt to turn off the read only attribute of the problem files, or it forces the attributes back on when the update starts, not sure which).

Does anyone know if there is a better way for handling the problem, perhaps by changing a setting in Linux or Adagio instead of renaming a long list of DLLs?

Thanks,
~ Phil

Use the "/Linux" switch on the install command line.

Does the Lanpak.exe setup program for LP 9.0C has the /Linux switch? It is producing an error that the serial number and the install code from the command line are invalid.

Hi, Patricia,

Please recheck the codes you are using and, if necessary, contact Customer Service to verify they are the correct ones.

It hasn't even gotten to the window that ask for the codes.

I already installed it. I had to use the manual command to setup the Linux server for Adagio Installation.
