I am using Adadio A/P 8.1A (080821). I keep getting this error message every so often; Access Violation at Address 0042B294 in module "APWIN.exe'. Read of address 00000010. And another one; Exception EAccessViolation in Module APWIN.exe at 004B294. Access Violation at Address 0042B294 in module "APWIN.exe'. Read of address 00000010.. Can you tell me what these mean?

This error message comes from the application having to perform an operation and at that instant in time is unable to. This error is also generic and could be caused by a number of reasons, such as a slow computer or network, invalid rights, a software error, anti-virus software slowing the system or holding a file, and many other possibilities.

The fact that it happens every so often likely means that the problem is not being caused by a program issue, unless you can make the error happen 100% of the time following a particular set of steps - and if so, then please let us know these steps.

What function are you doing when you receive the error?

All I can offer at this point is see what steps you followed when entering the invoice that caused the error. Can you duplicate the error if you enter the same invoice again? Can other users duplicate following the same steps?

To narrow down the cause of the error, it has to be reliably reproducable.
