Well I can't post this on the tech forem so hopefully some one can help
The report table drive for this work station is currently set to drive z however that drive does not contain current report tables for adagio ledger. Please check our workstation mapping if nessesarry reinstall adagio ledger.
the program was working fine for a week and then i came into this error. please help

Hello Lisa,

Have you installed a Service Pack or upgrade in that time? Have you changed your drive mappings or network setup?

Hi Andrew t Thanks for the reply.
The organization has done alot of renos and computers have been relocated ect. I am doing a service pack of the gl and the payables. Are service packs and upgrades different. Maybe we should be doing the upgrades?

The set up is one server (and i noticed the server has 8.0 payables on it) with 3 computers hooked up to it. One girl does the payables, one the gl and one the paydirt.

I looked at the mapping drives and they seem to be okay as i can get onto the server by the remote computers.

When I was trying to fix the payables it came up with a option to change the report tables to the proper drive but no option came up for gl. I have tried to use the allworkstations file and that isn't helping either.

Hi Lisa,

The setting of the report tables drive only needs to be set once for all Adagio (not once for each program), and it is stored for each person in the Windows registry. Now that AP is fixed up, is GL now working?

From your workstation, run the utility CHKSYS.EXE which can be found in the \softrak\system directory. It will indicate which report tables can be found (based on the tables drive) and will indicate which were not found or are an incorrect version.

If this shows errors, then this indicates the required tables do not match those found in the \softrak\system\qrasp area (used for comparison).

If this checks out OK, then there are other problems that likely would require reinstalling Ledger.

Service packs and Upgrades are different in their version and that upgrades require a serial number. Upgrades install all components and service packs install only required new components.

No the gl isn't working and Im thinking that the payables is working on a previous version but I will check that out I will do the work station run and let you know what is up. So if I need to reinstall the Adagio which version will i use.

We reinstalled the Ledger 90A upgrade and ensured that the report tables drive was selected as Z. Now the tables are installed and no errors occured when using Ledger.

Payables must have been installed and the local C drive selected as the report tables drive, instead of the correct server drive Z. The solution here is to reinstall the Payables 81A upgrade and ensure that the report tables drive is selected as Z.
