Hi,I have created a 12 month financial statement with our year end July 31, 2008. I used the "current year net change during" option with M1, M2 along the top of the speadsheet to define the periods. Aug to Dec 2007 only seem to work and the remainder of the year Jan to Jul 2008 information is all zero. Does it have anything to do with the fact that our year is not a calendar year fiscal period?

Hi Christine,

Having a fiscal calendar different from the usual calendar year shold not prevent you from creating an income statement such as what you want to do.

Is this for Adagio Ledger or Adagio FX? What version? There was a version a while ago that did not correctly show future months in statements such as what you are trying to create, and a service pack fixed this. Make sure you have the current version and service pack.

What are the exact field codes you are using? There aren't any specifically called 'M1' or 'M2', though there are similar ones like [1]M and _[1]M and NET_[1]M and BAL_[1]M. This could be useful for determining if you need to be using different codes.

I am currently using Adagio Ledger 9.0A

I have typed [1]M, [2]M, etc.in each column for each of the 12 periods. At the far left column I have .ColSpec.

The periods not showing any balance are Jan [6]M and on, which are not furure periods.

Hi, Christine,

Are your Period dropdown set to 12 and your Fiscal Year dropdown set to 2008? You'll need to do this to display the full year.

As your Period decreases (eg. 11, 10, 9, 8, etc) the values in the 12th, 11th 10th, 9th, etc. period columns respectively will change to zero.

Thank you! We are fixed - the drop down was not set at 12.
