I'm getting errors in the Sales Order Detail table whenever I run a Data Integrity Check or Datacare on the Adagio OE module. A repair/rebuild fixes the errors. I assume those errors are caused by Edisoft's Merchant software, but I don't know for sure because I'm not getting any detailed information on those errors (see attached screenshot). I checked the 'Show detailed information' (something like that) box, but this is all I'm getting.
How do I find out what exactly the errors are? Things like Sales Order Number, the field name(s) etc.?

Thanks in advance,

Andre

Hmm... Either I must have overlooked something blatantly obvious in the Datacare manual or no one appears to know the answer to my question... Which one is it? I hope it's not the former... Is it the latter? Or is there someone out there who knows the answer? If so, please...;-)

Thanks!

Andre

Hi Andre,

The screenshot link doesn't work for me - could you repost it?

Thanks

Ok. I just tried uploading the screenshot again. Everything seem to work, but when one tries to download the file - it's not there. Maybe something you should check on your end?
In the meantime, I have uploaded there file here:

Hi Andre,

The File Integrity Phase just checks the indexes against the data file. This means that there is a key/item mismatch.

The rebuild of the index will always fix these errors. If the second phase then proceeds without errors, then it's likely something that EDIsoft is doing.

I wouldn't be overly concerned if you haven't noticed anything unusual.

Thanks, Andrew! We haven't noticed anything yet, but at the same time, I wouldn't want to find out there's a serious problem several weeks down the road.;-)
Based on your response, I assume it's OK to not worry about it too much. The second pass fixed whatever the problem was. I still think it would be nice to get a little more detail during the DIC.

Thanks again,

Andre

I agree about the "more detail". We'll see about making it a little more useful.

Thanks for using Adagio!

Thanks for understanding! You can't imagine how much happier I am using Adagio compared to ACCPAC Plus.;-)
