I want to print a list of only the outstanding cheques and deposits. Every option I have tried shows it will print all transactions, outstanding and cleared. I am sure I am not looking in the right place.

The purpose of the Bank Reconciliation report in BankRec is to list all outstanding transactions and exclude cleared transactions. Is this not working for you?

If any transactions have a pending cleared status but have not been posted, these pending transactions appear in the top half of this report, followed by outstanding transactions with no pending status.

Optionally, the Bank Transactions report allows you to print all transactions with statuses you choose. If you want to print outstanding transactions and exclude cleared or reversed transactions, this can be done by selecting the appropriate checkboxes.

May either of these work for your purposes?
