Support finally getting back to you on this topic. A little more information.

Regardless of user (SYS or non SYS user), database, module or type of report (support tried various sorts re the detail listing and no go) when you click on the Excel Direct option you get the following errors :

"Failed to connect to Excel" (you then click the OK button and get the next error message):

"Error code: 1000 on ToXLSaveWorkbook" (you click on the OK button again and get the next error message):

"Excel Direct Failed".

The workstation in question uses the following Excel Version : MS Pro Plus 2016.

We then tried using a simple Export template in Ledger by exporting to Excel we received the same error messages as noted above.

In the case of the Export Template we tried different extensions for Excel (XLS and XLSX) but that made no difference either. The same errors appeared for both extension tests.

All other aspects of Ledger work and of course Excel runs fine independently.

Not sure if you have any suggestions.
