Which version of OE? Is it just the password that is affected or the entire email setup, or more?

The email settings within Adagio are stored in a specific text file in the data directory, along with other company settings. I presume you use the Direct method for the setup, which requires the account name and password. Recent versions of Adagio store the password as encrypted in this file.

It sounds like something is getting regularly corrupted or overwritten or lost in this text file. The best guess I have is that this file can be read and written to by any Adagio OE user for this company data, so perhaps while one user is doing something, another user tries to write to the file and something gets confused. Hopefully each of your staff logs into Adagio OE with their own unique user ID. Whether this is the situation, or likely something totally different, it's best to get your Adagio consultant involved.
