I would never, EVER run Adagio over a wireless network unless I was using a Remote Desktop to actually run Adagio. Losing the network connection for even a millisecond while Adagio is running is uniformly fatal to the Adagio session. Pulling cable where existing cable already exists usually isn't that big an issue. Drop the IT person recommending that configuration.

Perhaps the old cabling explains some of the hardware problems you've been experiencing over the years?
