You should be using FX9.0B(120113).

When you are on the Retrieve Accounting Data window, select the Help button and the See Also link from the resulting help topic. Select the link to the Setting Up an Auto-Retrieve topic.

You'll find examples there and each option is described. The Help for the basic Retrieve Accounting Data window also describes what each option would do.

Use the /q parameter in your shortcut to close the FX window after the retrieve is complete.

The AFWININI.KAS is a data file and would be located in your data folder.

Whether you create multiple shortcuts for the multiple GLs depends on what you're trying to accomplish. You can specify multiple retrieve sections to retrieve different data into different data folders or for consolidation purposes.
