Yann:
Information must have value. Otherwise lawyers, doctors, accountants, professors, psychics and even IT professionals would no longer exist in our society. I'm sure you agree with that.

So the issue under debate is the value of the information that you require. You place a low value on it because you already know most of the answers and feel that the Forum can provide the rest. Doug places a higher value on it because he works hard to acquire that experience and takes responsibility for his advice.

I can assure you that Doug knows the answers to those questions and much more besides. I know from experience that Doug takes his role very seriously, cares for the the quality of the recommendations he gives his clients and has an extrememtly successful practice. I deliberately used the word "recommendations" because Doug provides more than "put the CD in the drive" directions; he provides advice on how to best employ Adagio.

Would you be able to speak with Doug and find a price that suits both of you? If not, then you should talk to other Adagio consultants in your area. Sorry Doug! Look for someone who has a price that matches the cost you are willing to pay. However you will find that there's no Mother Teresa of the Adagio world! There will always be a cost. And any of those prospective Adagio consultants would be well advised to review this thread.
