We've recently added some additional checking for files and setup when starting Adagio, and that might be slowing the start-up as compared to what it used to be. We're investigating how to make this a bit faster while still doing the checking, and hopefully future releases will be faster than it is now.

Still try what Steve suggested, in case the time to open is affected by more than what I've indicated here.
