- Items can now have multiple alerts, and alerts can be set to display in specific functions in a specific module. Options on an alert allow them to be disabled once they are displayed, or require a user to acknowledge the alert. User ID’s are stored when alerts are disabled. All alerts for a item can be disabled in a single tick box.
- Edit Items now has a Minimum Qty field. This field is always in the Stocking Unit for the item. It will be checked by Adagio Invoices, OrderEntry and SalesCQ if the option: ‘Respect I/C Minimum Quantity’ has been selected in their Company Profile. In Invoice, Order or Quote Entry, if the Items ordered are beneath the Minimum Quantity, an Error message will appear.
- Bills of Materials now have an Active/Inactive Status.
- Copy Alternate Price List Items has an option to refresh the new Alternate Price List Item description from the Master item: Use master item desc.
- New functions for ‘Mark Items Inactive’ and ‘Delete Inactive Items’ have been added. These functions can print a report of all those who’s status is changed.
- The option ‘Exclude Items with historical transactions’ has been added to allow the functions to delete only Items with no history.
- The Delete Inactive Item function can select Items based on the ‘Active’ flag in the item.

- For the PDF Print Options report paths and Company Profile PDF Document folders, there is a new embed code for Year: %YYY.
- A new grid search process is available to use for most grids, accessible from the Control-F keyboard shortcut. Similar to filters, you can restrict displayed rows that meet defined search criteria.
- A new Post Automation Command has been added for Shipments, Receipts, Stock Transfers, Adjustments and Assemblies.
- The Company Profile option, ‘Allow inventory levels to be below 0?’, can be overridden by the Security Group option, ‘Allow inventory below 0 override’ for Transaction Entry, Import and Posting.
- Tax Levies fields have been increased from 15 to 30.
- Picking Sequence has been increased from 4 to 16 characters.
- For programs that have not been updated for the 16 character Picking Sequence, there is new Company Profile option, ‘For Picking Seq. length 4 use the (First 4 or Last 4) digits of Picking Sequence’. It this option is changed after it has been set, the items will need to be edited to update the 4 character Picking Sequence field.
- Inquiry
- If Inventory is integrated with PurchaseOrders, OrderEntry and SalesCQ, there is a new tab in Item Inquiry with Sales and Costs that will display the Open Active Orders for PurchaseOrders and Active or Future Orders for OrderEntry. Standing Orders are excluded. For SalesCQ, the Open Quotes that have not expired, been rejected or been transferred will be displayed.
- Vendor Name has been added to the Vendor information displayed in Item Inquiry.
- Integrity Check
- Data Integrity Checking for Item alerts has been improved to detect and remove orphaned item alerts.
- DataCare Data Integrity Check no longer reports Warnings for Inactive Component items. Editing Items to set a Component Item inactive is no longer allowed. Integrity checks in Inventory will still report these errors for existing Bills of Material.
- Data Integrity Checking for Item notes has been improved to detect and remove orphaned notes.
- Import/Export
- Import and Export templates now have the same ability as the Column Editor to restrict the Available Field list to those of selected data types and/or contain specified characters. The Available field list can also be sorted alphabetically.
- Import and Export Item Notes has been added.
- Import notes will strip unprintable characters from the Note Details
- Picking Sequences may be imported for Active Locations.
- Alternate Price List codes may be imported.
- Export Items has been updated to include: Units Sold Year To Date, Amount Sold Year To Date, Total Costs Year To Date, Units Lost Year To Date, and Units Lost Last Year.
- Optional Field titles are now displayed in the Import and Export Field Selection lists, instead of the generic option field data type labels, to more easily select the correct fields.
- Import Physical Inventory Worksheets no longer replaces the existing Physical Inventory Worksheet. Imported items can be appended to the existing Worksheet.
- Print Physical Inventory Worksheet now has a new option to Sort by Primary Vend No.
- Multi-user record locking has been relaxed to for import.
- For Automation, Importing Items, Alternate Price List Items, Reorder Data, Categories, Bills of Material, Barcodes, Item Notes, Price List Codes and Picking Sequences will still require exclusive access.
- For Automation with Transaction import where the posting option is selected, an import where the post fails because the exclusive resource could not be obtained will still be reported as a success. The Automation Log will show that posting did not complete.
- Import Shipments now includes Serial No. fields.
- Import Stock Transfers now includes Item to Item transfers as well as Location to Location transfers.

- Reports
- The Stock Card report in ExcelDirect has been improved for clarity. A Cost Total has been added to the report for Consolidated Locations (Summary or Detail).
- There were issues with the Stock Card report and ExcelDirect Export when there were transactions in Item History dated after the Ending Date.
- User Preferences
- Warn-Retrieve Shipments and Auto-Retrieve Shipments functions have been added to On Start-Up settings to Retrieve Adagio Invoices retrieval files.
- User Preferences now includes ‘Open Reportset List’ in the ‘On start-up’ options.
- Miscellaneous
- There is a new Maintenance function: Write Off Residual Cost. It has 3 options that will write off Residual Costs up to the Last Activity Date:
- Items With No Quantity: Residual cost items are written off for any costing method with 0 Total quantity and a non zero Total Cost (Residual Cost). For LIFO/FIFO items, 0 quantity in every lot and non zero cost in any lot.
- Items With Zero Total Quantity (LIFO/FIFO): Residual cost items with a Total quantity of 0 and Lots that have quantities that net to zero quantity will be written off.
- Items with quantity (LIFO/FIFO): Consolidates Lots where some have cost but no quantity or quantity but no cost.
