    ·    Compatible with Adagio DocStore. Linked documents are available to View on retrieved transactions.

    ·    Print the Trial Balance and Detail Listing reports to Excel using ExcelDirect.

    ·    The finder on the Department field is now restricted to the departments for the account selected. The Department Description is now available to be added to the Account finder with the Column Editor.

    ·    Find on filtered Account grids to search within the filtered result.

    ·    It is easier to find a field in the Column Editor. Sort the list, restrict the list by data type, and type in some text likely to identify the field.

    ·    Refresh Sample Data function allows you to refresh sample data to its original state at install time.

    ·    The Adagio Login dialog permits browsing to a UNC. The Create database button is hidden unless “/C” is included on the command line.

    ·    A “Backup” button has been added to the Adagio Toolbar. Backup options enable automatic or prompted backups prior to retrieving data from Ledger and purging the fiscal year.

    New Features in Financial Reporter

    ·    ExcelDirect hyperlinks to the DocStorage Folder are generated when sending transactions to Excel that include the "Doc Link" column. This allows you to see the source documents from the Excel spreadsheet. Right Mouse Button on the "Doc Link" column in transaction drilldown offers to "Copy Files". Clicking "Paste" in a Folder will result in the attached documents being copied into the Folder.

    ·    Send and entire Workbook to Excel by holding down the Shift key while clicking the ExcelDirect button.

    ·    Sort a section of a financial statement into alphabetical (or some other) order using the SmartSheet commands “.Sort”, “.SortCase” and “.SortEnd”.

    ·    New SmartSheet commands, “.RangeAccountDept” and “.RangeAccountByDept” have been added that expands wildcard and department ranges differently from “.Range”. “.RangeAccountDept” creates a row for every account in a range, for every department specified in the Toolbar in account sequence. “.RangeAccountByDept” produces the same list, but sorted by department.

    ·    The “.Verify” Smartsheet command now lists all account-department pairs not referenced in the section. Use this validation command in circumstances where specific account-department pairs are hard coded on a financial statement.

    ·    When setting up a Statement Group with a Custom Range, you can now suppress the summary sheet which used to print after all the ranges.

    ·    It is now easier to locate "Cycle!" and "Error!" values.

    ·    View | Customize | Settings (Tx Details) now only shows the actual selected columns, and has a "Restore to defaults" choice to quickly revert to the default columns display.

    •Custom Reports that used the Crystal report option to Hide a detail section, which permits drill down, did not work properly.
    •Custom Reports with sub-reports could not be printed. This error was received : The table could not be found.
    •The SSI2XL.DLL and SSI2XL64.DLL have been updated to 1.12.26.577 to correct a problem in Ledger and FX with printing Report Sets that contain Statement Groups to PDF. With earlier versions, either the Report log would show that the ‘Print Failed’ with an ‘Initialization error: 1000’ or there would be no PDF created and no message in the Report Log.
    •If 'North American Address?' is selected, the states for Mexico will be normalized to the 2 character state.
    •If the Company Profile is set to use “North American Address?, Import Projects will validate State/Province. If Country is imported, it will also be validated.
    •The Country list that will be normalized when 'North American Address?' is selected has been expanded to include more countries.
    A new option has been added to the Company Profile, System Options tab to work with ‘North American Address?’: ‘Normalize Country To’. The options are: Full name, 2 character ISO, 3 character ISO and Never.
    For editing or importing Projects, if the Country is recognized, variations on Country codes are standardized based on this setting.
    Eg. For the Default setting: Full name, CA or CAN become Canada.
     
    Fixes in Financial Reporter
     
    •An Export password equal to the User ID is no longer being applied to new Statement Groups.
    •When Rows and Columns were moved, the Page Break indicators were being moved so that it appeared that the Page Break had been moved. Page Breaks are not moved. Recalculate will correct the display of the indicator.
    •Added ‘Borders' button to the Format toolbar. Use the Borders button to access the functions available from the Borders tab of 'Format Cells'. You may need to reset your toolbars after upgrading to show the new buttons. To do this, go to View | Customize, Toolbars tab, select Format in the list and click the Reset button.

    ·    This release uses the same features and data structure as Adagio Ledger 9.2B wherever applicable, including reports and the Financial Reporter.

    ·    Adagio module toolbar allows one click launch of an Adagio module.

    ·    Grids may be "banded" with a User Selectable color and banding frequency. Edit grids display the total number of records, as well as a count of the displayed records when a Filter is active.

    ·    You can now make a Department "inactive".

    ·    Account Groups can now be added to the Account Group table.

    ·    Edit Budgets function same as in Ledger. These functions have been significantly improved to speed the entry of budget figures.

    ·    Added Find transactions and other features in Ledger to the View Transactions function.

    ·    Reports have been converted to Crystal Reports 2013.

    ·    Print the Trial Balance and Detail Listing reports to Excel using ExcelDirect.

    ·    Many restrictions have been removed when importing accounts and transactions. You can now import and export Departments.

    Financial Reporter

    ·    "Pin" fiscal periods and Department choices so that they are applied to every sheet in the financial statement.

    ·    Conditional cell formatting using Styles and the formula editor.

    ·    Allow an arbitrary selection of fiscal periods from the currently selected and previous years to sum amounts. Net Changes, Budgets, Forecasts, Statistical Units and Provisionally posted amounts can now be easily summed over arbitrary fiscal periods.

    ·    GLUPDATE() has an optional additional parameter to select the Budget Year to update. "1" updates the previous year's budget figures.

    ·    When drilling down into transactions, the displayed Grid will be banded according to the User Preference settings for color and banding frequency.
