Hi,

I'm trying to do a Debit Note in Payables and instead of Debiting the payable it's Crediting the Payable. How do I get the Debit Note to debit the Payable.

Hi Ryan:

Let's make certain that we using the same terminology:
-A Debit Note in AP will increase the balance owing on an invoice and therefore result in a credit posting to Accounts Payable in the GL
-A Credit Note in AP will decrease the balance owing on an invoice and therefore result in a debit posting to Accounts Payable in the GL

Which is your intention?
