Adagio Ledger 9.2B does not allow multiple selection from archived batch. Do you actually removed this feature, or another bug from the upgrade? I'm so frustrated now. I've been stucked since last week because of my Financial Reporter malfunction. And now, the archived batches, I need to copy to the current period one by one?

Hi Harpo,

No, sorry, but we did not remove the ability to multi-select batches for copying, including Archive batches, in the most recent Ledger 9.2B upgrade. It works well when I test this on various data sets, not just sample data.

I don't believe this is a bug in the software. There is something else going on that is preventing you from multi-selecting batches. This is something best to investigate with assistance from your Adagio consultant.

Oh you are more screwed!!! I selected multiple batches and only one batch showed up. When I opened that batch, all the batches I selected are in there. This is a big mess! Please correct asap. I wonder what else have been screwed with the upgrade. I am just starting my entries for the month, so this is just a start.

Why do we need to pay extra if the problem is with your program? That doesn't sounds right.

Did you receive the file I emailed to Susan Needleham regarding the Error we got from your program?

Did you select to copy to a single new batch, or multiple new batches? I believe you chose a different option for copying than what you intended. If you multi-select batches and want them to be copied to individual separate batches, then you need to choose the option for Multiple New Batches. This is working correctly to our documentation and specification.

I'm sorry for your frustrations, but we are not screwed. I don't believe there is a problem here.

Ohhh... well, you changed your program. I've been doing that every month. Multiple new batches is a new feature. Sorry... my work has been delayed since that upgrade and problem with my Financial Reporter which until now has not been resolved. Ok, so we can close this case.

Look carefully at the form when you copy and click the Help for a complete description of the how to use this capability.

New Batch => Sends all you selected to one batch

Multiple new batches => will create multiple batches corresponding to what you selected.

Existing batch => Lets you select what batch you want to use for the new entries.

It's all good. I was not used to have this option before so I panicked. Thanks.

OK. I understand that when one unexpected scenario occurs, anything else that goes unexpectedly can be disconcerting.

For what it's worth, the feature to copy to Multiple New Batches is not new, but has been around since at least Ledger 9.0A (circa 2007). It only appears when 2 or more batches are selected to copy. It is hidden when copying a single batch.

Yes, we have received the image you sent to us, and it is being investigated by our development team.
