I am currently getting Runtime Errors in Ledgerfinrep.exe
I am editing a statement spec and am getting a runtime error as well as an out of memory error.
Any ideas on why this would be? This is the first time I am trying to edit financial reports with Windows7.
The version of Ledger is 9.0C 110131 and the DIC is clean.

Lyndon:
Does it happen on just that statement or all statements? At which point does it happen?

It happens whenever I am in the Financial Reporter. It does not matter if I have a statement loaded. It also happens in safe mode. As soon as I open Financial Reporter the memory usage begins to climb until it crashes.
It only happens in this data set though, which is very odd. ADPROF settings appear to be correct.

It is very bizarre. I cloned the company (excluding financial reports). Exported the batches from the old company to the new company. Everything now works normally now.

I'll bet one of the financial reporter support files was damaged.

As Andrew says this is, most likely, the result of a damaged file that is used by the Financial Reporter and not part of the regular DIC. If it is possible for you to upload the damaged data to www.softrak.com/dbr I will see if we can protect against this type of problem

Softrak was able to duplicate the error, it was a damaged GLATREE file. Future versions of the Financial Reporter will detect and correct the error.

For now, remove the GLATREE data file and it will be recreated the next time the Financial Reporter is started.
